Our platform connects customers with skilled technician companies to address urgent repair needs efficiently. By using CrisisJack, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please review these terms carefully, as they establish the rights, obligations, and expectations for customers using CrisisJack's services.

1. Eligibility Requirements

1.1 Account Registration:
Customers must create an account to access CrisisJack's services. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information during registration and maintain the security of your account credentials.
1.2 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use CrisisJack.
1.3 Compliance: You agree to use CrisisJack in accordance with all applicable local, provincial, and federal laws, as well as these Terms and Conditions.

2. Use of CrisisJack Platform

2.1 Booking Services:
CrisisJack connects you with partnered technician companies. Once a job is submitted, CrisisJack will facilitate the connection to the closest available technician, if successful in matching your request with a technician, the assigned technician is solely responsible for providing the service.
2.2 Dispatch Fee: You are required to pay a non-refundable dispatch fee upfront when requesting service. This fee covers the cost of matching you with a technician and securing their arrival.
2.3 Service Payments: The final cost of repair services will be determined by the technician after the job is completed. Payment for these services is made directly to the technician.
2.4 Communication: You agree to communicate with technicians and CrisisJack representatives respectfully and professionally.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information:
You must provide clear and accurate details about your repair needs, including any relevant photos or descriptions.
3.2 Accessibility: Ensure the technician has safe and reasonable access to the repair site at the scheduled time.
3.3 Payment Obligation: You are responsible for paying all service charges promptly after the job is completed.
3.4 Safety and Privacy: You must ensure a safe working environment for technicians and respect their privacy.

4. Quality Assurance and Dispute Resolution

4.1 Technician Responsibility:
Technicians on CrisisJack are independent contractors responsible for the quality and completion of the services they provide.
4.2 Issue Resolution: If you are dissatisfied with a service, CrisisJack may mediate the issue but does not guarantee resolution.
4.3 Disputes: Disputes between customers and CrisisJack will be resolved through mediation before any legal action is pursued.

5. Limitations of Liability

5.1 CrisisJack’s Role:
CrisisJack acts solely as a facilitator between customers and technician companies. We are not liable for the quality, timeliness, or outcomes of the services provided.
5.2 No Guarantee of Service Availability: While we aim to provide consistent service, CrisisJack does not guarantee the availability of technicians or specific response times.
5.3 Indirect Damages: CrisisJack is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Customer Cancellations:
If you cancel a request after a technician has been dispatched, the dispatch fee will not be refunded.
6.2 Technician Cancellations: In the event a technician cancels, CrisisJack will attempt to match you with a new technician or refund your dispatch fee.

7. Amendments

7.1 Changes to Terms:
CrisisJack reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7.2 Notification of Changes: Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated via email or platform notifications.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada.
